I first joined Fire Escape in November 2007. I mainly decided to join because the dance group I am in (D4J) were taking a four month break while our leader went on maternity leave, and I was just generally looking for a more productive way to spend my empty weekday nights. However, I did have my hang-ups about singing because I used to but stopped because of certain things. Nevertheless, I spoke to Zoë and decided to give it a try.
The rest of the band were so welcoming, I couldn’t have asked for more support! I just want to say a massive thanks to everyone for being great, and making recording this album a great experience.
